Auburndale Fence & Deck provides deck construction, fence installation, and related outdoor structure services to residential and commercial property owners in Auburndale, FL and surrounding areas. Services are performed by or under the supervision of licensed and insured contractors. The specific scope of work for each project is defined in a written proposal or contract provided to the customer before work begins.
All written estimates are based on conditions observed during an on-site visit and information provided by the customer. An estimate is not a final contract and is subject to change if:
Any changes to the agreed price after a contract is signed will be communicated to the customer in writing before additional work is performed.
Project start dates are estimates and may shift due to weather, permit timelines, material availability, or scheduling demands. We will notify you promptly of any material change to your scheduled start date.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after a deposit has been paid and materials have been ordered may result in forfeiture of some or all of the deposit to cover costs already incurred.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate work on a project if site conditions are unsafe, if payment is not received according to the agreed schedule, or if the customer makes unreasonable demands outside the agreed scope of work.
Payment terms are specified in the written contract for each project. In general, we require a deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon substantial completion of the project. The specific deposit amount and payment schedule will be stated in your contract.
Payments not received by the due date set out in the contract may be subject to a late fee. If a balance remains unpaid after the project is complete, we reserve the right to pursue collection through available legal remedies, including filing a contractor's lien on the property in accordance with Florida law.
We accept payment by check, cash, and electronic transfer. Accepted payment methods for each project will be confirmed in your contract.
Where required, Auburndale Fence & Deck will apply for the necessary building permits on the customer's behalf as part of the project scope. The customer is responsible for providing accurate property information and for disclosing any HOA requirements or restrictions that may affect the project. We are not responsible for delays or costs caused by inaccurate information provided by the customer. All work is performed in accordance with applicable Florida building codes and Polk County regulations.
We stand behind our workmanship. Any warranty terms specific to your project will be stated in your written contract. Workmanship warranties cover defects in construction resulting from our installation errors. They do not cover:
Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers and are separate from our workmanship warranty. We will assist you in filing a manufacturer warranty claim where applicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, Auburndale Fence & Deck is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services or your use of our website, including loss of use, loss of income, or damage to property not directly caused by our negligence.
Our total liability for any claim related to a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that project.
